"Nestled against limestone cliffs thousands of years old, Labeaume is a true oasis in a rugged garrigue landscape. Here, people worked the dry earth and rock for thousands of years, leaving the traces of an ancestral culture. Volunteers show visitors the hanging gardens… The river's bluish waters have carved caves with mysterious reflections into the gorges. Labeaume is also home to 140 dolmens to discover on walks around the village."
